Common use of Management Grievance Clause in Contracts

Management Grievance. The Corporation shall possess the right to file a grievance as contemplated by the Ontario Labour Relations Act and the procedure shall be as follows: Human Resources, on behalf of the Corporation shall lodge the grievance with the President/Secretary of the Union within seven (7) days of the occurrence giving rise to the grievance. Within ten (10) days of receipt of the grievance, the President/Secretary and two other elected or appointed officers of the Union shall meet with the Director of Human Resources to discuss the grievance. Within ten (10) days after the said meeting, the President/Secretary shall deliver to Human Resources, the Union's answer to the grievance.
