Meal Allowance Premium. An employee who is required to work overtime and who works ten (10) or more continuous and successive hours (excluding the lunch period of an "O" shift worker) shall be paid a meal allowance of five dollars ($5.00) which shall be included in their regular paycheck. An additional meal allowance shall be allowed for each four (4) hours of consecutive work performed thereafter. Ten and Twelve hour shifts are exceptions per Article X, Section 3, (g) and (h). 1. No time shall be deducted for lunch periods during such overtime work; it is understood that they shall be made as short as possible.
