Meal Intervals/Rest Breaks. An employee is entitled to an unpaid meal break of 30 minutes after 5 hours of work which is to be taken at a time specified and convenient to the business business. No meal break shall be taken in the first hour or last hour of the shift. An employee is also entitled to two paid rest breaks, one of 15 minutes and one 10 minutes. These breaks will be scheduled either side of your unpaid meal break and around production needs. They shall not be taken in the service to customersfirst hour or the last hour of the shift.
