Mechanic Employees. A. Tool Replacement Mechanic employees are required to have their own tools to perform their job. Such employees will receive a five-hundred-dollar ($500.00) tool stipend per year to cover the cost of providing such tools. The tools shall be deemed the personal property of the employee. In the event a tool breaks (as opposed to usual wear and tear) in the performance of contracted duties, the employee shall submit the broken tool to his/her Supervisor for replacement.
