Common use of Medical Leave Bank Clause in Contracts

Medical Leave Bank. Such leave is to be used only in the event of illness or injury of the member or the member's immediate family, or other events authorized in this Article. There will be no further additions to the medical leave bank. The medical leave bank balance can be authorized for use only after the personal leave balance has been exhausted, except that any one (1) medical disability which prevents the employee from working, as certified by the attending health care provider, which exceeds five (5) consecutive working days shall be charged as follows:
