Membership Health Plan. Effective July 1, 2021, the University shall pay 85% of the cost of the University of Massachusetts Boston Student Health Insurance Plan, not to exceed the amounts shown below, for each graduate assistantship funded through the Office of Graduate Studies or through University administrative units outside of the Office of Graduate Studies in accordance with the following schedule. Full time $2250 3/4 time $1687.50 1/2 time $1125 Effective July 1, 2022, the University shall pay 85% of the cost of the University of Massachusetts Boston Student Health Insurance Plan, not to exceed the amounts shown below, for each graduate assistantship funded through the Office of Graduate Studies or through University administrative units outside of the Office of Graduate Studies in accordance with the following schedule. Full time $2500 3/4 time $1875 1/2 time $1250 Effective July 1, 2023, the University shall pay 85% of the cost of the University of Massachusetts Boston Student Health Insurance Plan, not to exceed the amounts shown below, for each graduate assistantship funded through the Office of Graduate Studies or through University administrative units outside of the Office of Graduate Studies in accordance with the following schedule.   • Health Plan An appropriately licensed entity that has entered into a contract with Subcontractor, either directly or indirectly, under which Subcontractor provides certain administrative services for Health Plan pursuant to the State Contract.   • Extended Health Plan An employee who makes an election under this provision must enrol in each and every of the benefit plans and shall not be entitled to except any of them.

  • Medical Plan ‌ Eligible employees and dependants shall be covered by the British Columbia Medical Services Plan or carrier approved by the British Columbia Medical Services Commission. The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the premium. An eligible employee who wishes to have coverage for other than dependants may do so provided the Medical Plan is agreeable and the extra premium is paid by the employee through payroll deduction. Membership shall be a condition of employment for eligible employees who shall be enrolled for coverage following the completion of three (3) months’ employment or upon the initial date of employment for those employees with portable service as outlined in Article 14.12.

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with Employer policies and available resources. 9.2 Attendance at employer-required training will be considered time worked. The Employer will make reasonable attempts to schedule employer-required training during an employee’s regular work shift. The Employer will pay the registration and associated travel costs in accordance with Article 23, Travel, for employer-required training.
