Middle School Preparation Periods. All teachers, when possible, will be given one hundred eighty-five (185) minutes of planning time during a full week of school, along with one (1) team planning period during a full day, with every reasonable effort being made to provide one (1), thirty-eight (38) minute planning period each full day (thirty-seven (37) minutes on Wednesday). The planning minutes noted above are in addition to the one hundred eighty (180) minutes of personal planning time contained within the early release Wednesdays outlined in Section

  • Preparation Periods 31-1 The School District agrees to maintain daily preparation periods during the student day in all junior and senior high schools. At schools where block scheduling is in effect, the total preparation time provided shall be equal to the preparation time provided at schools not operating on a block schedule.

  • School Year Sarasota Suncoast agrees that opening and closing dates of the school year and school holidays will coincide with other Sarasota County schools.

  • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.
