STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Association recognizes that strikes, as defined by Section I of Public Act 336 of 1947 of Michigan, as amended by public school employees are contrary to law and public policy. The Board and the Association subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by appropriate and peaceful means, in keeping with the high standards of the profession, without interruption of the school program. Accordingly, the Association agrees that during the term of this Agreement, it will not direct, instigate, participate in, encourage or support any strike against the Board by an employee or group of employees.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Association recognizes that strikes (as defined by Section 1 of Act 336, PA 1947, as amended, of the State of Michigan) by teachers are contrary to law and public policy. The Board and Association subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by appropriate and peaceful means in keeping with the high standards of the profession, without interruption of the school program. Accordingly, the Association agrees that during the term of this Agreement, it shall not direct, instigate, participate in, encourage, or support any strike against the Board by any teacher or group of teachers.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Association recognizes that strikes, by public Employees, are contrary to the law and public policy. The Board and Association subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by appropriate and peaceful means, without interruption of the school program. Accordingly, the Association agrees that during the term of this Agreement, it will not direct, instigate, participate in, encourage or support any strike against the Board.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Union will not engage in or encourage strike action of any type and/or take actions contrary to any applicable state law for the duration of this agreement.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Federation recognizes that the statutes of the State of Michigan confer upon pubic employees and their organizations the duty to maintain and continue the operation of the pubic schools, without interruption or interference due to strikes. According, the Federation agrees, on behalf of itself and on behalf of all those whom it represents as follows:
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The services performed by the employees included in this Agreement are essential to the public health, safety, and welfare. There shall be no interruption of the work for any cause whatsoever, nor shall there be any work slowdown or other interference with public services.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. 13.01 The Union and all covered employees agree that (they) will not under any circumstances or for any reason, including actual breach of this contract by or sympathy for or support of the employees or Union, call, encourage, authorize, ratify or engage in any strike, slow down, boycott, illegal picketing or other interruption of work.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. A. During the term of this Agreement or any extension thereof, neither the Association nor any person acting in its behalf will cause, authorize or support, nor will any of its members take part in any strike (i.e. the concerted failure to report for duty or willful absence of a teacher from his/her position, or stoppage of work or abstinence in whole or in part, from the full, faithful and proper performance of the teachers duties of employment) for any purpose whatsoever.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Association shall not cause, engage in, sanction or support any strike. No member shall cause or participate in any strike or work stoppage or refuse to perform the full duties of his employment.
STRIKE PROHIBITION. The Association acknowledges that it is unlawful for any secretary or secretaries to cause, engage in or sanction any strike or refuse to perform the duties of his/her employment, pursuant to ACT #379 of the Public Acts of 1965, amended.
