Common use of Military Service Leave Clause in Contracts

Military Service Leave. A. Any employee who is a member of a reserve force of the United States or this State and who is ordered by the appropriate authorities to attend a training program or perform other duties under the supervision of the United States or this State shall be granted a leave of absence during the period of such activity with no loss of time or pay not to exceed thirty (30) days per calendar year as provided by law. In the case of a declared state of emergency, military service leave may be extended for an additional period not to exceed ten (10) calendar days per year, provided the employee provides a copy of his military orders.
