Eligible employees may receive up Up to fifteen (15) days of unpaid leave related will be granted to an eligible employee who averages twenty (20) or more hours of work per week, whose spouse is on leave from deployment or before and up to deployment during a period of military conflict. An employee who takes leave under this provision may elect to substitute any of the deployment accrued paid leave to which the employee is entitled for any part of a spouse in accordance the leave provided under this provision. The employee must provide his or her supervisor with RCW 49.77notice of the employee’s intention to take this leave.
