Minimum Work Standards. The Licensee shall ensure that any improvements to or work done with respect to the Licence Area, including any improvements or alterations approved by the District, done by or on behalf of the Licensee comply with all applicable laws, statutes, enactments, regulations, bylaws and orders from time to time in force, including the applicable building code and bylaws of the District of Summerland.

Minimum Work Standards. The Tenant shall ensure that any repairs or work with respect to the Premises, including any improvements or alterations approved by the Landlord, done by or on behalf of the Tenant (a) do not affect any structural or foundation elements of any improvements comprised in the Premises; (b) meet or exceed the standards of materials and construction employed in the original construction of the improvements comprised in the Premises; and (c) comply with all applicable laws, statutes, enactments, regulations, bylaws and orders from time to time in force, including the applicable building code and bylaws of the Regional District of Alberni-Clayoquot.

  • Work Standards The Contractor shall execute its responsibilities by following and applying at all times the highest professional and technical guidelines and standards.   • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.

  • Design Criteria and Standards All Projects/Services shall be performed in accordance with instructions, criteria and standards set forth by the Director.

  • Quality Standards Each Party agrees that the nature and quality of its products and services supplied in connection with the other Party's Marks will conform to quality standards set by the other Party. The Contractor shall make wage reports as required by said Instructions. Strict compliance with said minimum wage requirements is demanded by the Owner and shall be considered as of the essence of this Contract. It is hereby agreed that the City of Milwaukee by its Milwaukee Board of School Directors shall have the right at all times to examine all persons employed upon the project by the Contractor and carryon and make such investigations as it may deem necessary to see that the terms of this agreement, relating to such wage payments, are being fully observed.
