Common use of Missed Meal Breaks Clause in Contracts

Missed Meal Breaks. a) Applicable to full-time employees only If an employee is authorized to work, during the meal break, due to the requirements of patient care, she will be paid time and one-half (1 ½) her regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of his normal daily hours. b) Applicable to part-time employees only If an employee is authorized to work, during the meal break, due to the requirements of patient care, she will be paid his regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked. Notwithstanding this provision, she will be paid time and one-half (1 ½) her regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of the normal or standard work day.
