The following use and content limitations apply: Overall the TLD domain name must be for a bona fide NGO use, as defined in the Restrictions Dispute Resolution Websites must be developed with the intent to promote the corresponding TLD registrant’s existing mission and activities, and not solely for commercialized or for-profit marketing usage. Use of the registered domain name to engage in activities inconsistent with the mission of a NGO is not allowed. Any illegal or fraudulent usage of the TLD domain name is not allowed, including but not limited to phishing and pharming attacks, distribution of malware, and distribution of adult content. Registration and use of a domain name in violation of Rights Protection Mechanisms is not allowed. Name Selection. The registrant undertakes as part of the registration guidelines not to register any domain names that violate the statutory provisions of the European Union and Federal Republic of Germany, that intervene in the rights of others or violate them, or for abusive, speculative or anti-competitive purposes. Concomitantly, the registrant obliges himself not to spread criminal, illegal, offensive, racist, discriminatory or pornographic content under the TLD. The registrant further undertakes not to register domain names, which create the erroneous impression that these are domain names, content or services by public bodies or their affiliated organizations, so-called plagiarising authority domain names. The registrant agrees not to register domain names that violate ethical or criminal law principles (illegal, violent, racist, ethnically offensive, harmful to minors, indecent, offensive or domain names that violate morality and public order) or may hurt the reputation of the City of Hamburg. In addition, domain names are not permitted that use the words or parts of words that could generally perceived as offensive. These include insulting, abusive or agitational words or words or word elements, which could violate the ethical, religious or moral sensibilities of Internet users.
Name Selection. During the Sunrise Period, registrants must select names corresponding to their trademark, trade name, company name, or otherwise names with demonstrable usage (especially in relation to the spa community). After the Sunrise Period, and upon Go Live (General Availability), registrants may select names of their choice. Name Selection. Names registered during the phase of pioneer names will be subject to particular attention in order to protect the reputation of the community. A list of words with particular importance or significance will be established. These words will require prior agreement. This reputation will be guaranteed by the enforcement of adapted eligibility criteria that allows a use that does not harm the image of the Breton community and the consistency of the TLD. Name Selection. Acceptable Domain Registration Applications are defined as the types of names that may be registered within the TLD. An acceptable domain name that is valid for registration is one that: • meets the technical requirements; • does not construe an abusive or obscene meaning in Japanese; and • does not construe an abusive or obscene meaning in English or other languages. Registry Operator will create a list of reserved names based on its work with the community and local governments to ensure that names that serve the public interest are allocated in the most efficient and beneficial way. All registrations requests must be submitted through an ICANN accredited registrar that has entered into an agreement with Registry Operator. All accredited registrars will be required to ensure that the registrant warrants that all information provided is true and accurate; the registration is in good faith and does not infringe on the rights of any third party, the registrant meets the Nexus Requirement and the registrant understands, accepts, and will abide by all registry policies. Content/Use Restrictions Registry Operator is in agreement with the Osaka Prefectural Government’s desire that pornographic, vulgar and highly objectionable content is adequately monitored and removed from the namespace. This type of content will be strictly prohibited in the TLD. In order to strictly enforce this registration policy, Registry Operator will implement an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) as well as include an Abuse Point of Contact on its website as a means to provide a method for users to submit complaints of abuse to Registry Operator. Registry Operator believes that a strong abuse prevention policy in the TLD is a very important benefit to the Osaka community and will ensure that contracted parties adhere to its policies. The AUP will be incorporated into the Registry-­‐Registrar Agreement and give the Registry Operator the right to take any appropriate actions needed to remedy a particular type of abuse. All ICANN accredited registrars which enter into an agreement with the Registry Operator will be required to pass through the Acceptable Use Policy to its Resellers (if applicable) and finally, to all registrants.

Restrictions may include, but are not limited to a requirement that each registered domain name is used in conjunction with standard IP protocols such as http, https, smtp⁄mail, ftp, etc. The .WIEN Registry will, from time to time in its sole discretion or upon evidence or advice conduct continuing or recurring audits of domain names registered to ensure continued compliance with these requirements. Failure to comply will result in a notice providing 20 days to comply. Non-­‐ compliance following such a notice period may result in take-­‐down of the relevant domain name, at the discretion of the Registry.
