National Board Teacher Certification Sample Clauses

National Board Teacher Certification. A teacher who possesses a valid National Board of Professional Teaching Standards (“NBPTS”) Certification at the beginning of the school year will be paid a stipend of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). This stipend is provided outside of the compensation plan.

National Board Teacher Certification. National board certified teachers will receive a onetime recognition of $1,000 and a $500 yearly stipend, for the length of this contract. Part-time national board certified teachers shall receive a prorated portion of the $500 on the December payroll.
National Board Teacher Certification. In any school year during which a teacher attains National Board Teacher Certification and in each year thereafter during which the certificate is retained, the teacher shall be entitled to a non-cumulative stipend of $2,040.00. In addition, a teacher who attains National Board Teacher Certification and, in connection therewith, completes the grant application process for State reimbursement of expenses for such Certification, shall be reimbursed by the District for any expenses incurred that remain unreimbursed, up to a maximum of $2,000.00. Teachers who have attained National Board Teacher Certification shall be reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,000.00 for the cost of recertification.
National Board Teacher Certification. If a teacher in the district attains National Board Teacher Certification, the teacher shall receive an annual stipend of Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($500.00) in addition to the scheduled salary. If a teacher who attains National Board Teacher Certification continues to be employed by the district for an additional five years, that teacher shall receive a one-time stipend of $2,500 at the end of the fifth school year of being Nationally Board Certified.
National Board Teacher Certification. Individuals receiving National Board Certification will receive a “once in a career” stipend of $1000 increment after the submission of the NBTC to the Personnel Department. In addition, a $12,000 pool of money will be available each fiscal year for reimbursement to staff members for NBTC application/renewal/retake fees. To be eligible for these funds, teachers should apply in writing to the Personnel Department by June 1 each year. The funds shall be allocated on a first-come, first- serve basis

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:
