National Health Care Program. In the event that during the term of this Agreement a 23 National Health Care Program imposes new or additional payroll taxes/costs on the Employer, or 24 reduces in whole or in part the deductibility to the Employer of its contribution to the health care 25 plan, or modifies the coverage which is or may be provided by the Employer, the terms of the 26 health care plan will be modified to the extent possible and permitted by law to conform with 27 any such National Health Care Program and to the extent necessary to avoid any new or 28 additional payroll taxes/costs or loss of deductibility. 29

National Health Care Program. In the event a national health care program is enacted that would affect the health care benefit of this agreement in any way, the parties agree to negotiate the impact of such changes, if necessary. The parties agree that the goal of any such negotiations shall be to maintain health care benefits at their current level and costs so as to minimize any negative consequences to the members and/or any unanticipated cost increase for the district. ********************************************************************************* MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT Non-Smoking Provision Public Act 459 In accordance with PA 459, effective September 1, 1993, the use of all tobacco products will be prohibited within and on any and all buildings, facilities and vehicles owned or leased by or to the Van Buren Public Schools. This provision shall supersede any and all contrary and/or inconsistent policies, rules, regulations, or contract provisions with which it may conflict or modify. The school district will arrange, at no cost to the employer or the employee, a smoking cessation overview program at least once a year. An employee who engages in the use of tobacco products in violation of the above prohibition shall be subject to the following progressive discipline:

  • Extended Health Care Plan (a) The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable Extended Health Care Plan.

  • HEALTH CARE PLANS ‌ Notwithstanding the references to the Pacific Blue Cross Plans in this article, the parties agree that Employers, who are not currently providing benefits under the Pacific Blue Cross Plans may continue to provide the benefits through another carrier providing that the overall level of benefits is comparable to the level of benefits under the Pacific Blue Cross Plans.

  • Home Health Care This plan covers the following home care services when provided by a certified home healthcare agency: • nursing services; • services of a home health aide; • visits from a social worker; • medical supplies; and • physical, occupational and speech therapy.

  • Mental Health Services This agreement covers medically necessary services for the treatment of mental health disorders in a general or specialty hospital or outpatient facilities that are: • reviewed and approved by us; and • licensed under the laws of the State of Rhode Island or by the state in which the facility is located as a general or specialty hospital or outpatient facility. We review network and non-network programs, hospitals and inpatient facilities, and the specific services provided to decide whether a preauthorization, hospital or inpatient facility, or specific services rendered meets our program requirements, content and criteria. If our program content and criteria are not met, the services are not covered under this agreement. Our program content and criteria are defined below.

  • Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:
