Needlestick and Sharps Injuries. The Hospital, in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee, shall develop, implement and monitor a program for the prevention of needle stick and sharp injuries and the treatment of such injuries should they occur. The program should include and address employee training and education with respect to needle stick and sharps injury prevention, and provide for the maintenance of a needle stick/sharps injuries log to detail incidents. The program shall be evaluated annually by the Hospital in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

  • Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Control (a) The Hospital in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) shall develop, establish and put into effect, musculoskeletal prevention and control measures, procedures, practices and training for the health and safety of employees.

  • ON THE JOB INJURIES An employee who suffers a work-related illness or injury must report that illness or injury to his or her supervisor within twenty-four (24) hours, unless the employee is prevented by incapacity from doing so. If the illness or injury is one for which time-loss payments are provided through the workers’ compensation system, the employee may choose to receive only such time-loss payment, or may choose to use paid leave in combination with workers’ compensation benefits as follows:

  • Personal Injury 22.1 The Vehicle has third party personal injury insurance cover. It is likely that any other vehicle involved in the accident also has third party personal injury insurance cover.

  • Property Damage Lessee shall obtain and maintain insurance coverage on all of Lessee's personal property, Trade Fixtures, and Lessee Owned Alterations and Utility Installations. Such insurance shall be full replacement cost coverage with a deductible of not to exceed $1,000 per occurrence. The proceeds from any such insurance shall be used by Lessee for the replacement of personal property, Trade Fixtures and Lessee Owned Alterations and Utility Installations. Lessee shall provide Lessor with written evidence that such insurance is in force.

  • Safety Glasses 10.3.1 Where a teacher is considered to be working in an “eye danger” area, the teacher shall receive a personal issue of standard neutral safety glasses which shall remain the property of the employer.

  • Assaults An employee who is assaulted while in the performance of assigned duties shall promptly report the assault to the Employer. The Employer shall promptly investigate the incident and render such assistance as necessary under the circumstances, including reporting and cooperating with law enforcement authorities.

  • Personal Property Damage Upon submission of reasonable proof the Employer shall repair or indemnify with respect to damage to the chattels of an employee while on duty caused by the actions of a patient, resident or client provided such personal property is an article of use or wear of a type suitable for use while on duty.

  • Injuries In the event of an incident or accident involving outside medical care for an individual on or near the Work, Contractor shall notify the ODR and other parties as may be directed within 24 hours of the event.

  • Bodily Injury Bodily injury means death, disease, illness, physical and mental injury of or to an individual.
