NEW AND SUBSTANTIALLY MODIFIED POSITIONS. If the Employer creates a new bargaining unit position or substantially changes the requirements, responsibilities and duties of an existing position, the Employer shall provide written notice to the Union, including the position description and a proposed rate of pay, at least fourteen (14) days prior to implementation of the new or substantially revised position. If the Union requests bargaining within 14 days after receipt of the notice, the parties will meet to bargain the rate of pay. The Employer’s proposed rate shall be paid while negotiations proceed.
