– NIGHT AND SUNDAY WORK. No work shall be done at night or on Sunday except (l) usual protective work, such as pumping and the tending of lights and fires, (2) work done in case of emergency threatening injury to persons or property, or (3) if all of the conditions set forth in the next paragraph below are met. No work other than that included in (l) and (2), above shall be done at night except when (a) in the opinion of the Engineer, the work will be of advantage to the Owner and can be performed satisfactorily at night,

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.

  • Holiday Work Employees who work on a holiday shall receive one and one-half (1-1/2) times their straight time regular rate of pay for all hours actually worked on the holiday, plus holiday pay.

  • Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours to be scheduled within the hours of operation.

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Weekdays All work performed outside of the designated shift Monday through Friday shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the straight-time hourly wage rate.

  • Holiday Worked In addition to Subsection A above, employees will be compensated for the hours actually worked on a holiday at the overtime rate, in accordance with Article 17, Overtime.

  • Sundays Employees shall receive a shift differential of eight percent (8%) per hour to a maximum of three dollars ($3.00) per hour, in addition to their regular rate of pay for all hours worked on Sundays.
