Common use of Night Duty Clause in Contracts

Night Duty. 222. Employees shall be paid eight percent (8%) more than the base rate for each hour worked between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. if the employee works at least one (1) hour of his/her shift between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for those employees participating in an authorized flex-time program and who voluntarily work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Night Duty. 222259. Employees shall be paid eight percent (8%) more than the base rate for each hour worked between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. if provided that the employee works employees’ regular shift includes at least one (1) hour of his/her shift between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for those employees participating in an authorized flex-time program and who voluntarily work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. 260. Employees shall be paid ten percent (10%) more than the base rate for each hour worked between the hours of midnight (12:00 a.m.) and 7:00 a.m. provided that the employees’ regular shift includes at least five (5) hours between the hours of midnight (12:00 a.m.) and 7:00 a.m.

Night Duty. 22288. Employees who, as part of their regularly scheduled work shift, are required to work any hours between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. shall be paid receive a premium of eight and one-half percent (88.5%) more than the per hour in addition to their straight time hourly base rate of pay for each hour any and all hours worked between 5:00 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. if the employee works at least one (1) hour of his/her shift between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for those employees participating in an authorized flex-time program and who voluntarily work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.11:00 p.m.

Employees shall be paid eight ten percent (810%) more than the base rate for each hour worked regularly assigned between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. if the employee works at least one (1) hour of his/her shift between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for those employees participating in an authorized flex-time program and who voluntarily work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.. Shift pay of ten percent (10%) shall be paid for the entire shift, provided at least five (5) hours of the employee's shift falls between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
