Common use of No Notice of Maternity Leave Clause in Contracts

No Notice of Maternity Leave. A teacher who fails to comply with section 11.1.2 and who is otherwise entitled to maternity leave, is entitled to maternity leave for the period specified in section 11. 1.1 if within two (2) weeks after she ceases to work she provides the Employer with a medical certificate which: (a) Indicates that she is not able to work by reason of a medical condition arising from her pregnancy and; (b) Gives the estimated date of delivery or the actual date of delivery.

No Notice of Maternity Leave. 11.5.1 A teacher who fails to comply with section 11.1.2 Article 11.3 and who is otherwise entitled to maternity leave, is entitled to maternity leave for the period specified in section 11. 1.1 Article 11.2 if within two (2) weeks after she ceases to work she provides the Employer with a medical certificate which: (a) Indicates 11.5.1.1 indicates that she is not able to work by reason of a medical condition arising from her pregnancy pregnancy; and; (b) Gives 11.5.1.2 gives the estimated date of delivery or the actual date of delivery.

A teacher who fails to comply with section 11.1.2 Article 13.3.2 and who is otherwise entitled to maternity leave, is entitled to maternity leave for the period specified in section 11.Article 1.1 13.3.1 if within two (2) weeks after she ceases to work she provides the Employer Board with a medical certificate which: (a1) Indicates indicates that she is not able to work by reason of a medical condition arising from her pregnancy pregnancy; and; (b2) Gives gives the estimated date of delivery or the actual date of delivery.
