Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.
Date of Termination “Date of Termination” means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive’s employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive’s employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.
Vacation Year The vacation year shall be April 1 to March 31, inclusive.
Sick Leave Payout No cash payment for unused sick leave will be paid to any employee leaving the service of the Employer.
Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.
Proportionate Leave on Termination An employee on weekly hiring who leaves the employment of the employer or his/her employment is terminated by the employer for any reason, shall be paid for 2.769 hours for each 36 ordinary hours worked and in respect of which leave had not been granted under this clause at the appropriate rate of wage calculated in accordance with 18.10.
Deductions from Sick Leave A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all normal working days (exclusive of holidays) absent for sick leave.
Sick Leave Defined Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is permitted to be absent from work with full pay by virtue of being sick or disabled, exposed to contagious disease, or because of an accident for which compensation is not payable under the Workers' Compensation Act.
Sick Leave Allowance Faculty with a full-time assignment shall accrue sick leave at the rate of eight
Effective Date of Termination Executive’s employment will terminate on the 30th day after Executive gives written notice to the Company stating that Executive is resigning his employment with the Company for any reason other than Good Reason, unless the Company waives in writing all or part of this notice period (in which case the termination of employment is effective as of the date of the waiver).
