No Split Shifts/Consecutive hours per day With the exception of the meal period an employee's shift for the day shall be comprised of consecutive hours of work. In the event an employee requests a personal leave of absence during their shift for the day, and such leave is approved by management, this will not be construed as a violation of this sub-section. Furthermore, the employee's schedule will not be altered by reason of such approved leave.

  • No Split Shifts With the exception of the meal period, an employee's shift for the day shall be comprised of consecutive hours of work unless otherwise mutually agreed to between the employee and the Co-operative.

  • Consecutive Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by unpaid lunch periods.   • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an Employee's vacation period, she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the Employee.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.
