Non-exempt Nurses. All work schedules shall provide each nurse a 3 fifteen (15) minute rest period during each one-half (½) of an eight (8) hour or 4 ten (10) hour shift. Rest periods shall be scheduled at the middle of each 5 shift whenever possible. Nurses who are authorized by their supervisors to 6 work beyond their regular quitting time shall receive an additional fifteen (15) 7 minute rest period before they begin the next succeeding shift. In addition, 8 nurses shall be granted regular rest periods during each additional shift as 11 Rest periods that are not utilized during any shift shall not be considered for 12 the purpose of determining overtime payments. Rest periods shall be 13 scheduled in a manner, which will not interrupt the efficient operation of the 14 department. 16 Nurses shall receive a lunch period of at least one-half (½) hour, and no 17 more than one (1) hour during each work shift. Whenever possible, lunch 18 periods shall be scheduled at the middle of the shift. Length of meal periods 19 shall be determined by and in accordance with existing routines in each 20 department. 22 Rest and mealtime not utilized as provided in this Article may not accumulate 23 for later use.

  • Non-Exempt Employees Non-exempt employees shall not be paid for the period of the closure. However, employees shall be allowed to use accrued vacation, compensatory time off, personal leave or approved leave without pay for the absence(s). A non-exempt employee arriving at work after the Employer/Agency has announced a closure or curtailment of operations may be directed to leave work and if so directed shall not be paid for the remainder of the shift unless utilizing accrued leave as described above. An employee who actually begins work shall be entitled to pay for all actual hours worked.

  • FLSA Exempt Employees The exempt employee shall be paid for the work shift. An FLSA exempt employee may be required to use paid leave or leave without pay where the closure applies to that employee for one or more full workweek(s)

  • Overtime-Exempt Employees Overtime-exempt employees are not covered by federal or state overtime laws. Compensation is based on the premise that overtime-exempt employees are expected to work as many hours as necessary to provide the public services for which they were hired. These employees are accountable for their work product and for meeting the objectives of the agency for which they work. The Employer’s policy for all overtime-exempt employees is as follows:

  • International ACH Transactions You understand that in the event an International ACH Transaction (“IAT”) Entry that is transmitted to or from any of your accounts is identified and designated by the Credit Union’s screening criteria for review and examination under the OFAC Rules and Regulations (“OFAC Rules”). The settlement of such an IAT Entry may be delayed or suspended pending the Credit Union’s review of the IAT Entry, and may be terminated under applicable OFAC Rules. You acknowledge that we may be required to place an indefinite hold on the funds covered by the IAT Entry if the IAT Entry is required to be terminated under the OFAC Rules. You agree that any delay described above will be a permissible delay under the regulations applicable to the availability of funds held in deposit accounts.
