Common use of Non-Regular Employee Clause in Contracts

Non-Regular Employee. (i) All time worked beyond the normal workday (seven hours) shall be deemed to be overtime. Overtime shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times (1½x) for the first two hours and double-time (2x) after two hours in any one day or shift. (ii) Non-regular employees must have worked on each of five consecutive days to be eligible for overtime on the sixth and seventh day. Overtime on the sixth and seventh day to be paid at double-time. (iii) For employees identified in Clause 32.1(b) and 32.1(c), overtime will be paid for all hours worked in excess of 70 hours biweekly and for time worked in excess of five days per week.
