Nonpromotive Appointment. 314. When an employee accepts an appointment in a class having the same or lower salary grade, the employee shall be placed at the step nearest to, but not less than their current salary, not to exceed the maximum of the salary grade.

Nonpromotive Appointment. 412. When a nurse who is a permanent appointee, occupying a permanent position, following completion of the probationary period or six (6) months of permanent service, accepts a nonpromotive appointment in a classification having a higher salary range, the appointee shall enter the new position at that salary fixed for such class (including seniority increments) in the schedules of compensation which is immediately in excess of the salary which the employee received immediately prior to the employee’s appointment to such position.

Further increments shall be based upon the seniority 10 increment anniversary date in the prior appointment.
