SCHEDULES OF COMPENSATION. Compensation for the respective classifications of employment shall be paid for services under a normal work schedule as defined in Section III hereof. Compensations listed are gross amounts and are paid on a biweekly basis unless otherwise specified. The salary grade plan of seniority increments is contained herein. Wage rates are set forth in Attachment A.

SCHEDULES OF COMPENSATION. 255. The schedules of compensation for all represented classifications of employment subject to the provisions of Section A8.403 of the Charter shall be increased as follows: March 29, 2014 a 3% increase 256. The compensation schedule for Class 2320 Registered Nurse, 2340 Operating Room Nurse, 2323 Clinical Nurse Specialist, 2325 Nurse Midwife, 2328 Nurse Practitioner, and Class 2330 Nurse Anesthetist shall also be increased as follows: a. Nurses shall advance to Step 7 upon completion of two (2) years of service at Step 6 or seven-and-one-half (7.5) years of City service whichever occurs first. b. Nurses shall advance to Step 8 upon completion of three (3) years of service at Step 7 or ten-and-one-half (10.5) years of City service whichever occurs first. 259. c. Step 9 shall be set at approximately 3.1% above Step 8. Nurses shall advance to Step 9 upon completion of five-and-one-half (5.5) years of service at Step 8 or sixteen (16) years of City service whichever occurs first. 260. d. Step 10 shall be set at approximately 3.1% above Step 9. Nurses shall advance to Step 10 upon completion of five (5) years of service at Step 9 or twenty-one (21) years of City service whichever occurs first.

The new compensation schedule will be as follows: Step 2 becomes Step 1; Step 3 becomes Step 2; Step 4 becomes Step 3; Step 5 becomes Step 4; Step 6 becomes Step 5; and a new Step 6 set at approximately 3.1% above the new Step 5. b. Effective the pay period closest to April 1, 2004, the City shall eliminate Step 1 in the compensation schedule. The new compensation schedule will be as follows: Step 2 becomes Step 1; Step 3 becomes Step 2; Step 4 becomes Step 3; Step 5 becomes Step 4; Step 6 becomes Step 5; and a new Step 6 set at approximately 3.1% above the new Step 5.
