Notice of Intent to Reduce Staff/Notice to Association. A. If the Board contemplates suspending a teaching contract of a member of the bargaining unit for reason of reducing staff, it will notify the Association in writing as soon as the need becomes evident that the suspension is necessary. The written notice will include the specific position to be affected, the reason for the action, and the time at which the suspension will become effective. The Association may, within five (5) days of receiving said notice, request a meeting with the Superintendent. The Association will be given the opportunity to present any information it may have which is relevant to the proposed action of the Board.

  • Notice to Association When, at any formal step, the grievant is not represented by the Association, which cannot occur at the arbitration step, no solution shall be finally approved until the Association is given a statement in writing of the proposed solution and five (5) work days in which to file a response.

  • Notice of Intent When the President or representative has reason to believe that a suspension or termination should be imposed, the President or representative shall provide the employee with a written notice of the proposed action and the reasons therefor. Such notice shall be sent certified mail, return receipt requested, or delivered in person with written documentation of receipt obtained. The employee shall be given ten (10) days in which to respond in writing to the President or representative before the proposed action is taken.   • CAFA Notice Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1715, not later than ten (10) days after the Agreement is filed with the Court, the Settlement Administrator shall cause to be served upon the Attorneys General of each U.S. State in which Settlement Class members reside, the Attorney General of the United States, and other required government officials, notice of the proposed settlement as required by law, subject to Paragraph 5.1 below.
