NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. The County follows the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services. An employee whose absence from employment is necessitated by reason of duty in the uniformed services shall notify the Department Head or designee of the upcoming military service requirements. Benefits provided for employees absent under this Article shall be provided consistent with the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services and/or current Board approved policy.

NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. An employee taking leave under this policy shall provide written or oral notice, as far in advance as possible, of pending military service. Employees on military leave resulting in absence of more than 30 days shall forward a copy of their military orders to the superintendent or designee. Using paid leave in lieu of unpaid military leave An employee taking leave under this policy may at his or her discretion, but is not required to, use accrued vacation or other paid leave during time of military service.
NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. (a) If Renter is a member of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or other military force designated by congress as a part of the armed forces of the United States (“Armed Forces”), a reserve branch of the Armed Forces, or the army national guard and the air national guard (“National Guard”) and is transferred or deployed overseas pursuant to an executive order of the president of the United States, an act of congress, or an order of the governor (“Active Duty”) for a period of 180 days or more, Renter shall notify Landlord of the transfer or deployment.
