NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. The County follows the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services. An employee whose absence from employment is necessitated by reason of duty in the uniformed services shall notify the Department Head or designee of the upcoming military service requirements. Benefits provided for employees absent under this Article shall be provided consistent with the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services and/or current Board approved policy.

NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. The Employer complies with the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services. An employee whose absence from employment is necessitated by reason of duty in the uniformed services, shall notify the Department Head or designee of the upcoming military service requirements. NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. An employee taking leave under this policy shall provide written or oral notice, as far in advance as possible, of pending military service. Employees on military leave resulting in absence of more than 30 days shall forward a copy of their military orders to the superintendent or designee. An employee taking leave under this policy may at his or her discretion, but is not required to, use accrued vacation or other paid leave during time of military service.
NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. (a) If Renter is a member of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or other military force designated by congress as a part of the armed forces of the United States (“Armed Forces”), a reserve branch of the Armed Forces, or the army national guard and the air national guard (“National Guard”) and is transferred or deployed overseas pursuant to an executive order of the president of the United States, an act of congress, or an order of the governor (“Active Duty”) for a period of 180 days or more, Renter shall notify Landlord of the transfer or deployment. (b) Renter shall provide written evidence of the transfer or deployment with the notice under subsection 1(a).

  • Withdrawal of Services 50.1 Notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement, except as otherwise required by Applicable Law, Verizon may terminate its offering and/or provision of any Service under this Agreement upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to CBB. 50.2 Notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement, except as otherwise required by Applicable Law, Verizon may with thirty (30) days prior written notice to CBB terminate any provision of this Agreement that provides for the payment by Verizon to CBB of compensation related to traffic, including, but not limited to, Reciprocal Compensation and other types of compensation for termination of traffic delivered by Verizon to CBB. Following such termination, except as otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, Verizon shall be obligated to provide compensation to CBB related to traffic only to the extent required by Applicable Law. If Verizon exercises its right of termination under this Section, the Parties shall negotiate in good faith appropriate substitute provisions for compensation related to traffic; provided, however, that except as otherwise voluntarily agreed by Verizon in writing in its sole discretion, Verizon shall be obligated to provide compensation to CBB related to traffic only to the extent required by Applicable Law. If within thirty (30) days after Verizon’s notice of termination the Parties are unable to agree in writing upon mutually acceptable substitute provisions for compensation related to traffic, either Party may submit their disagreement to dispute resolution in accordance with Section 14 of this Agreement.

  • Notice of Layoff The Employer shall notify all employees who are to be laid off, fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff or shall award pay in lieu thereof.

  • Notice of Overtime The Agency shall give as much notice as possible of overtime to be worked.

  • Janitorial Service Landlord shall not be obligated to provide any janitorial services to the Premises or replace any light bulbs, lamps, starters and ballasts for lighting fixtures within the Premises. Tenant shall be solely responsible, at Tenant’s sole cost and expense, for (i) performing all janitorial services, trash removal and other cleaning of the Premises, and (ii) replacement of all light bulbs, lamps, starters and ballasts for lighting fixtures within the Premises, all as appropriate to maintain the Premises in a first-class manner consistent with the first-class nature of the Building and Project. Such services to be provided by Tenant shall be performed by contractors and pursuant to service contracts approved by Landlord. Tenant shall deposit trash as reasonably required in the area designated by Landlord from time to time. All trash containers must be covered and stored in a manner to prevent the emanation of odors into the Premises or the Project. Landlord shall have the right to inspect the Premises upon reasonable notice to Tenant and to require Tenant to provide additional cleaning, if necessary. In the event Tenant shall fail to provide any of the services described in this Section 6.6 to be performed by Tenant within five (5) days after notice from Landlord, which notice shall not be required in the event of an emergency, Landlord shall have the right to provide such services and any charge or cost incurred by Landlord in connection therewith shall be deemed Additional Rent due and payable by Tenant upon receipt by Tenant of a written statement of cost from Landlord.
