Notice – Short-Term Layoff. In the event of a proposed short term layoff at the Employer or a bed cut- back or a cut-back in service which will result in displacement of staff, the Employer will provide the local Union with reasonable notice. If requested, the Employer will meet with the local Union to review the reasons and expected duration of the bed cut-back or cut-back in service, realignments of service or staff and its effect on nurses in the bargaining unit.
