Benefits Age 65 and Older. Effective December 21, 2017, semi-private hospital insurance, extended health care benefits and dental benefits will be extended to active full-time employees from the age of sixty-five (65) onward, on the same cost share basis as applies to those employees under the age of sixty-five (65).
Benefits Age 65 and Older. Semi-private hospital insurance, short term disability and extended health care benefits will be extended to active full-time nurses from the age of sixty-five (65), and up to the nurse’s seventieth (70th) birthday, on the same cost share basis as applies to those nurses under the age of sixty-five (65). All other benefits shall cease at age sixty-five (65).
Benefits Age 65 and Older. (a) The Home will provide to all full-time employees who reach age 57 and retire and have not yet reached age 65 and who are in receipt of the Home’s pension plan benefits, semi-private, extended health care and dental benefits on the same basis as is provided to active employees as long as the retiree pay the Employer their share of the monthly premiums, in advance. The Home will contribute fifty percent (50%) of the billed premiums of these benefit plans.
Benefits Age 65 and Older. Extended health benefits (including drug prescription plan, vision care, hearing aids and hair pieces) semi private, dental plan will be extended to active employees from the age of sixty-five (65) up to and including their seventieth (70th) birthday on the same cost basis as employees under the age of sixty-five (65) (with the exception of life insurance under Article 15.02).
Benefits Age 65 and Older. Basic Life, AD and D, Health and Dental benefits will be extended to active full- time employees from the age of sixty-five (65), and up to the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday, on the same cost share basis as those employees under the age of sixty-five (65). No other benefits provided to employees under the age of sixty-five (65) will be available to employees age sixty-five (65) and older. Part-time employees in receipt of percentage in lieu of fringe benefits under Article 22.05 shall have this percentage in lieu entitlement adjusted accordingly on the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday to four percent (4%).

Extended health care benefits and dental benefits will be extended to active full- time employees from the age of sixty-five (65) and up to the employee’s seventy (70th) birthday, on the same cost share basis as applies to those employees under the age of sixty-five (65). Group Life Insurance will be extended to active full-time employees up to the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday at one (1) times salary. In the event that an employee works past her or his seventy (70th) birthday, she or he shall be paid an amount set out for part-time in-lieu under Schedule A.

Semi-private insurance and extended health care benefits will be extended to active full-time nurses from the age of sixty-five (65), and up to the nurse’s seventieth (70) birthday, on the same cost share basis as applies to those nurses under the age of sixty-five (65). First full month following ratification, notwithstanding Articles 12 and 17, full-time employees who continue to be employed past age 65 shall be eligible for the following benefits under the same cost sharing basis as active employees: • 12.01 (a) – LTD ends at age 65 • 17.01 (a) & (c) - EHC • 17.01 (b) reduce life insurance by 50% to equivalent of one time (1x) salary 17.01 (d) - Dental In any event, once an employee reaches age 70 and she continues to be employed, she shall automatically be placed on the percentage in lieu as current part-time employees receive as per Article 19.01 (b).

Semi-private Hospital insurance, extended health care benefits and dental benefits under Article 18.01 will be extended to active full-time employees from the age of sixty-five (65), and up to the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday, on the same cost share basis as applies to those employees under the age of sixty-five (65). The short-term sick leave plan provided in Article 13.01 shall be applicable to active full- time employees from the age of sixty-five (65), and up to the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday.

The benefits plan shall provide for the continuation at age 65 of the hospital care, extended health, dental, vision, one-time life benefit and out of country coverage for active full-time employees until age 70 or until retirement, whichever occurs first, on the same cost sharing basis as applies up to the age of 65.

The short-term sick leave plan provided in Article 13.01 shall be applicable to active full-time employees from the age of sixty-five (65), and up to the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday. The Hospital agrees to contribute 75% of the billed premiums towards coverage of Blue Cross rider #2 (or equivalent) [complete and partial dentures] at 50/50 coinsurance to $1000 annual maximum and Blue Cross rider #4 (or equivalent) [crowns, bridgework, and repairs to same] at 50/50 co-insurance to $1000 annual maximum providing the balance of the monthly premiums are paid by the employee through payroll deduction. The dental plan fee schedule for services for the dental plan benefits provided above shall be based on the current ODA fee schedule as it may be updated from time to time. The Hospital will provide equivalent coverage to all employees who retire early and have not yet reached age 65 and who are in receipt of the Hospital's pension plan benefits on the same basis as is provided to active employees for semi-private, extended health care and dental benefits. The Hospital will contribute the same portion towards the billed premiums of these benefits plans as is currently contributed by the Hospital to the billed premiums of active employees. A copy of all current master policies of the benefits referred to in this Article shall be provided to the Union. The Board notes that, in the unique circumstances addressed in this case, the award does not prejudice the parties with respect to any positions they have taken in this proceeding and is of no precedent value.
