Common use of Notification of Illness Clause in Contracts

Notification of Illness. Employees must notify the immediate Supervisor or designate directly, if possible, at least two (2) hours prior to the commencement of their scheduled workday in order to advise of any illness or injury that prevents them from working. The Employee shall provide a telephone number where they can be reached during the period of absence.
