Notification of Illness. Nurses should notify the Medical Center of absence from work because of illness as far in advance as possible, but at least three and one-half (3 ½) hours before the start of the nurse’s shift. Repeated failure to give such minimum notification will result in reduction of otherwise payable sick leave for that shift by two (2) hours. Repeated failure as used in this section means more than twice every two years.
Notification of Illness. An employee who knows they will be absent due to illness or disability shall make every attempt to notify their immediate supervisor of the fact at least an hour and a half prior to the commencement of the school day, but in any case, as in the onset of sudden illness or other emergency, no later than the time of the commencement of school.
Notification of Illness. In case of illness or injury causing absence, the faculty member is responsible for notifying the division office or the Human Resources Department. Upon return from any absence, the faculty member shall complete the absence form and file it with the immediate supervisor. If not filed within five business days, the immediate supervisor will complete the form, send a copy to the faculty member, and send the original to Human Resources.
Notification of Illness. An employee absent from duty due to personal illness or personal incapacity must inform their supervisor or manager as soon as the employee becomes aware that:
(a) they will not be able to attend work; and
(b) the likely period of the absence.
Notification of Illness. The inability of an Artist to rehearse or perform due to illness shall be announced to all Artists in a production as soon as possible.

b) The Employee shall inform the supervisor of the anticipated date of return to work and any limitations or restrictions.

Employees must notify their immediate Supervisor or their designate directly, where possible, at least four (4) hours prior to the commencement of their scheduled shift in order to advise of any illness or injury that prevents them from working. The employee shall provide a telephone number where he can be reached during the period of absence.

Notification of Illness. (a) In order to be eligible for sick leave benefits, the employee shall endeavour to provide to their designated individual as much notice as practical of their inability to report to work. Such notice must be given at least thirty (30) minutes before their regular shift is to commence, provided however, that this requirement is relaxed when the employee cannot reasonably contact the Employer or when the cause could not have reasonably been known.
(b) If an illness occurs during the course of their shift and the employee feels that they must leave work, then the employee must make a reasonable effort to notify their immediate exempt supervisor or designate prior to leaving the workplace.
