Common use of Notification of Illness Clause in Contracts

Notification of Illness. Employees must notify the immediate Supervisor or designate directly at least three (3) hours prior to the commencement of the scheduled shift in order to advise of any illness that prevents them from working. The Employee shall provide a telephone number where he or she can be reached during the period of absence.
