Notification of Vacancy. All staff members are encouraged to apply for vacancies in which they are interested and qualified. The Board and Association believe that it is in the best interest of the students and the District for assignments to be made on the basis of qualifications and needs. Whenever there are any vacancies in the District, any teacher may request to fill the position. Notification of such vacancies shall be posted in the school offices and the three (3) plan rooms. If any vacancies occur during the summer vacation, notification will be made by mail at the time of the first pay period following the vacancy.
