Observations and Conferences Non-tenure. The Teacher Professional Practice evaluation process will include a pre- conference meeting; at least two informal observations with a post-conference meeting; and two formal observations for the length of a class period that is at least forty-five (45) minutes long, or a complete lesson, or the duration of an entire class period. Formal observations include both a pre- and post-observation conference. Teachers may request an additional informal observation, as needed. At the high school level, evaluations will not be conducted during the five days preceding the end of a semester. At all levels evaluations will not be conducted during the five days preceding the end of the school year, the day before the Thanksgiving break, the day before the winter break, and the day before the spring break. The draft of the summative evaluation shall be given to the teacher within twenty (20) school days following the last classroom observation.

  • Meetings and Conferences ‌ From time to time the Government may require attendance at Government conferences and meetings at no additional cost to the Government.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. When a full-time or part-time faculty member’s attendance at a professional conference conflicts with his/her regular assignment, the faculty member must submit a request for attendance to the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor. If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • Conferences and Meetings Attend meetings with Contractor, such as preconstruction conferences, progress meetings, job conferences and other project-related meetings, and prepare and circulate copies of minutes thereof.
