Observation Conference. The evaluator and employee shall meet within three (3) days of the observation or written evaluation for a post conference for each required observation and evaluation. Employees shall have the opportunity to provide additional information to aid the observer/evaluator in completing the report and make suggestions for the next observation.

Summative Evaluations Definition: An evaluation that occurs at the end of an evaluation cycle and is considered the final evaluation in the cycle. (In contrast, a formative evaluation is conducted during the cycle for purposes of growth and development.) Summative evaluations are evaluator judgments of educator performance against standards and/ or progress made toward completion of a performance plan. Freshwater has developed a summative evaluation process that takes place at the end of the three-year development and evaluation process for professionals. The statute requires that a summative evaluation be performed by a qualified and trained evaluator. In Freshwater’s case, the summative evaluations will be performed by licensed administrators. All personnel who conduct summative evaluations must receive training. Among the important topics that should be addressed in training are coaching skills, orientation to the evaluation instrument, observation skills and procedures, evidence-gathering procedures, scoring practice and inter- rater reliability, and controlling for bias. Those conducting summative evaluations must undergo follow-up training regularly to ensure that they are up to date in their skills and aware of any changes that have been made to the system. The summative evaluation processes will follow these steps:

Observation Conference means a discussion between a supervisor and teaching staff member to review a written report of the performance data collected in a formal observation and its implications for the teaching staff member's annual evaluation.

Related to Observation Conference

  • Post-observation conference means a meeting, either in-person or remotely, between the supervisor who conducted the observation and the teaching staff member for the purpose of evaluation to discuss the data collected in the observation.

  • Prehearing conference means a proceeding scheduled and conduc- ted by a hearing officer to address issues in preparation for a formal administrative hearing.

  • Observation Period means, in respect of an Interest Period, the period from, and including, the date falling "p" London Banking Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period (and the first Interest Period shall begin on and include the Interest Commencement Date) and ending on, but excluding, the date which is p London Banking Days prior to the Interest Payment Date for such Interest Period (or the date falling p London Banking Days prior to such earlier date, if any, on which the Notes become due and payable);

  • Site evaluation means a comprehensive analysis of soil and site conditions for an OWTS.

  • Compliance Review means an inspection of the home, grounds, and files to determine compliance with these regulations.

If an Observation Date (k) is not a Calculation Date, the immediately following day, which is a Calculation Date shall be the respective Observation Date (k).
