Meetings and Conferences. From time to time the Government may require attendance at Government conferences and meetings at no additional cost to the Government.
Meetings and Conferences. The GSA GWAC Program conducts and sponsors several meetings and conferences each year in support of the Aliant 2 GWAC Program. Some are contractually required and others are optional to the contractor.
Meetings and Conferences. Contractors are required to participate in monthly Contract Holder Conference Calls designed for the exchange of information among contract holders and the NITAAC program. Participation in these conference calls will ensure that contractors are kept abreast of ongoing NITAAC Program and contractor community activities. Contractors are encouraged to participate in community action groups to assist in the development of strategies around market outreach, communication, and other topics relevant to the CIO-CS GWAC Program. NITAAC may conduct up to four Program Office meetings per year including an annual conference at a location to be determined by NITAAC. These meetings are intended to provide a platform for contractors, NITAAC staff and agency representatives to communicate current issues, resolve potential problems, discuss business and marketing opportunities, review future and ongoing NIH and government-wide initiatives, and address contract fundamentals. At a minimum, the contractor PM is required to attend these meetings.
Meetings and Conferences. The District may grant paid leave with reimbursement for approved expenses to employees for the purpose of attending educational meetings. Application for such leave shall be in writing. Approval of such leave is discretionary with the Superintendent and must be obtained in advance of the leave.

Meetings and Conferences. The CM acknowledges that completing the design, bidding and/or construction of an Assigned Project and the CM’s completion of Basic Services for an Assigned Project under this Agreement involves the input or collaboration of a number of parties, including without limitation, the District’s personnel, District shared governance committees, end-users, academic and operational departments of the District, the District’s Board of Trustees and the community at large. The CM agrees that although not specifically enumerated in this Agreement, the scope of the CM’s Basic Services in connection with an Assigned Project shall be its attendance and participation in meetings and conferences with the various parties engaged in an element of the design, bidding or construction of an Assigned Project as requested or directed by the District. The CM’s Basic Services for an Assigned Project shall include the CM’s taking, transcribing and/or distribution of minutes of such meetings, as directed or authorized by the District.
Meetings and Conferences. Costs are allow- able when the purpose of the meeting is the dissemination of technical information re- lating to the grant program and they are consistent with regular practices followed for other activities of the grantee.

Application for these days shall be in writing. Approval of such days is discretionary with the Superintendent and must be obtained in advance.
Meetings and Conferences. The Superintendent may approve attendance of employees at educational or professional conferences and meetings with provision for subsistence and travel allowances as included in the budget. A written or oral report may be required to be submitted to the Board of Education by each employee attending a conference or meeting. The following rules apply to conferences and meeting attendances:
1. Requests must be in writing on forms provided. Prior approval for attendance must be received from the Superintendent. Financial advances may be requested.
2. Transportation to conferences and conventions shall be by the most reasonable and practical mode available. Employees traveling by personal vehicle shall be reimbursed for mileage pursuant to District policy. However, where tourist or coach class air fare is less than the total cost of mileage to a conference or convention some distance from Marshall, Michigan, only the cost of the air fare will be allowed as an expense item if the employee chooses to travel by car; additionally, employees choosing to travel by car shall not be entitled to reimbursement for motel or meal costs enroute. If there is shown need for a car, and approval is received from the Superintendent, then private cars may be used.
3. The following types of actual expenses will be allowed within reasonable limits:
a. Hotel or motel room including taxes.
Meetings and Conferences. To the extent the Agreement provides, we will attend meetings and conferences that you, or your representatives, reasonably require. Furthermore, we will meet on an as-needed basis with public agencies that might be involved in the Project. Because we cannot forecast the scope and nature of these meetings and conferences, we will perform meeting and conference services on an hourly fee basis in accordance with our applicable hourly rate schedule.
