Observation Conference. 1. All formal observations shall be preceded by a conference between the evaluator and the teacher in order for the teacher to explain plans and objectives for the work situation to be observed.
2. A post-observation conference shall be held after each formal observation and shall be used to inform the teacher if observed instructional practices are aligned with the expectations that are identified in the teacher’s professional growth or improvement plan.
3. A teacher may request a formal observation at any time in addition to those required by this procedure.
Observation Conference. Upon agreement by both the teacher and the evaluator, teachers who are rated accomplished or skilled may elect to schedule a pre-conference, post-conference or both.
Observation Conference a. Upon teacher request, all formal observations will be preceded by a pre-observation conference between the evaluator and the teacher within 7 working days of the observation. At the pre-observation conference teachers shall provide evidence for the work situation to be observed on the pre-observation form.
b. A post-observation conference shall be held after each formal observation. The post observation conference shall take place within 7 working days following the formal observation.
c. The evaluator shall provide the teacher with a written or electronic copy of all observation reports or walkthrough forms.
d. A teacher may request a formal observation at any time in addition to those required by this procedure in agreement with building administrators consent
e. Formal observations shall not disrupt and/or interrupt the classroom learning environment.
f. All formal observations shall be announced.
Observation Conference. 1. The evaluator will hold a conference with the evaluatee to present the formal written evaluation.
2. At the post-observation conference the evaluator shall discuss the classes and activities observed, what was viewed, what was not viewed and what could be done to improve the lesson.
Observation Conference a. A pre-observation conference shall be held prior to any formal observation.
b. A post-observation conference shall be held. This conference shall be used to inform the counselor if observed practices are aligned with the expectations that are identified in the counselor’s professional growth or improvement plans.
c. A counselor or the evaluator may request a formal observation at any time in addition to those required by this procedure. A counselor may file a written response to any observation report.
d. Formal observations shall not be held on the day before or the day after Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, and Spring Break.
Observation Conference. 1. All formal observations shall be preceded by a scheduled conference not more than five (5) workdays prior to the formal observation between the evaluator and the teacher in order for the teacher to provide evidence for the lesson to be observed on the pre-observation form.
2. A post-observation conference shall be held after each formal observation. The post observation conference shall take place within ten (10) working days following the formal observation unless both parties mutually agree to an extension. At the post- observation conference teachers shall be provided documentation of one (1) area of reinforcement (i.e. a strength) and one (1) area of refinement (i.e. area in need of growth) through evidence, in alignment with the education standards. Teachers shall be given the opportunity to provide additional evidence during this conference.
3. If requested, the evaluator shall provide the teacher copies of all written documentation including but not limited to: notes, scripts, artifacts, and evidence collected during formal observations and walkthroughs.

The pre-observation conference must be completed within 24 hours of the observation or the school day prior to the evaluation in the case of a weekend.
Observation Conference a. Formal observations shall be preceded by a pre-observation conference between the evaluator and the teacher within four (4) working days if requested by either the teacher or the evaluator. At the pre-observation conference teachers shall provide evidence for the work situation, including information about the students, the learning environment, and the objectives of the lesson, to be observed on the pre-observation form (Appendix K). It is understood that the teacher need not answer all of the questions on the form in Appendix J, but should be prepared to discuss not more than four (4) questions identified in advance by the evaluator.
b. A post-observation conference (see Appendix K-6) shall be held after each formal observation. The post observation conference shall take place within four (4) working days following the formal observation. At the post-observation conference teachers shall be provided at least one
(1) area of reinforcement and at least one (1) area of refinement through evidence, in alignment with the education standards. Teachers shall be given the opportunity to provide evidence to support the areas of reinforcement and refinement during this post-observation conference.
c. During the conference, the evaluator shall provide the teacher with copies of all written documentation including but not limited to notes, scripts, artifacts, and evidence collected during formal observations and walkthroughs. Such documents will be redacted as necessary.
d. Formal observations shall not unnecessarily disrupt and/or interrupt the classroom learning environment.
e. All formal observations shall be scheduled between the teacher and the evaluator.

The post observation conference shall take place within ten (10) working days following the formal observation unless both parties mutually agree to an extension. (1) area of reinforcement (i.e. a strength) and one (1) area of refinement (i.e. area in need of growth) through evidence, in alignment with the education standards. Teachers shall be given the opportunity to provide additional evidence during this conference.

Observation Conference. (a) A notice will be sent by the Evaluator to the teacher at least two (2) days prior to the formal observation.
(b) Unless unforeseen and extenuating circumstances exist a post- observation conference shall take place within fifteen (15) teacher contract days following the formal observation or longer if mutually agreed upon. The post-conference discussion between the evaluator and teacher should focus on identified area(s) of support. The evaluator and teacher collaborate to make recommendations on the teacher’s Professional Growth Plan or Improvement Plan. Teachers may bring additional evidence for the evaluator to consider. At the post-observation conference, a focus area(s) should be determined and progress on focus area(s) should be discussed. Teachers shall be given the opportunity to provide evidence for the standards. At the post-observation conference teachers shall be provided an initial overall rating for that observation and the completed rubric.
(c) A teacher will be given the paperwork or it will be electronically transmitted, at least two (2) teacher contract days prior to the post- conference for each observation, unless unforeseen and extenuating circumstances exist. A teacher will have five (5) teacher contract days to provide additional evidence for the current observation after the electronic transmittal or after being given paperwork, whichever occurs first.
