Observed. a. Regular full-time employees shall be eligible for the following paid holidays: January 1 b. Any public holiday(s) which may be proclaimed by the President or Governor and City Council or Mayor of the City of Lompoc. c. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed. When a holiday falls on a Sunday the following Monday shall be observed. d. Regular full-time employees hired on or after January 1st but before June 30 of the calendar year shall be entitled to a full eight (8) hour “floating” holiday as listed above in 13.1a. Regular full-time employees hired on or after July 1st but before December 1st of the calendar year shall be entitled to only a four (4) hour “floating” holiday as listed above in 13.1a. Regular full-time employees hired on or after December 1st but before January 1st of the calendar year shall not be entitled to a “floating” holiday as listed above in 13.1a for that calendar year.
