Relief Period. A relief period is a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes which shall be considered as work time.
Relief Period. Each elementary employee, including special subject teachers, shall have at least a ten (10) minute relief period in both the morning and afternoon each day in a manner to be determined by the employees and immediate supervisor in each school/center. One of the relief periods (i.e. during specials class) shall occur during the student instructional day. An employee with an assignment other than a regular classroom assignment shall not be removed from that assignment to supervise the students of another employee for such relief periods unless such relief periods cannot otherwise be provided, in which case not more than one such assignment per day shall be given. Each middle and high employee who needs a restroom relief period during instructional time shall have no more than a 10 minute relief period. The employee shall not leave their students unsupervised.
Relief Period. (a) A relief period not to exceed 15 minutes shall be granted to every employee as close to the middle of each of his half tours as the efficiency of the Company's operations permits.
Relief Period. All employees shall be allowed one (1) relief period not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes in duration the first (1st) half of the shift and fifteen (15) minutes during the second (2nd) half of the shift. The employees may take the relief period at their discretion except when designated by the Craft Lead. When working other than the regular shift, relief breaks shall be taken each two (2) hours.

Relief Period. A. All bargaining unit members shall be allowed two (2) paid fifteen (15) minute relief periods in each normal workday. The Employer shall establish reasonable rules governing the taking of such relief periods.
B. Relief periods will be taken away from the immediate work station when the bargaining unit member works in a public contact office, and where the Employer can reasonably provide such separate area.
C. When working other than the normal shift, a fifteen (15) minute paid relief period shall be allowed a bargaining unit member during any work period of at least four (4) hours duration, or as otherwise agreed.
Relief Period. For each four (4) hours worked, an employee shall receive one (1) fifteen (15) minute “break.” (This paragraph shall not apply to bus drivers or bus aides, except for the “security/shuttle” position.)

The Employer shall have the right to require strict observance of the employees of the lunch and relief periods as scheduled. Relief periods are compensable.

D. If an employee is not allowed to take a relief break, he or she shall be compensated at the appropriate rate for the missed break if it is reported before the end of the shift. If an employee does not report the missed break, it will be assumed the break was taken. In the absence of a shift supervisor, an additional (15) minutes will be paid at the appropriate rate if the missed break is reported in accordance with Department/Institutional procedures.
