Occasional Employee. a) Employee hired to handle a temporary increase in workload or an unforeseen event. Unless otherwise agreed upon with the Union, if the function generated by an increase in workload or an unforeseen event exceeds a period of ninety (90) days, the occasional employee shall be remunerated at the regular salary rate increased by a hundred per cent (100%) as of the ninety-first (91st) day.
