Provisional Employee Sample Clauses
The 'Provisional Employee' clause defines the status and terms of employment for individuals hired on a temporary or trial basis before being considered for permanent employment. Typically, this clause outlines the duration of the provisional period, the evaluation criteria, and the rights and obligations of both the employer and the employee during this time. For example, it may specify that benefits are limited or that employment can be terminated with shorter notice during the provisional phase. The core function of this clause is to provide a structured framework for assessing new hires, allowing employers to evaluate suitability while managing risk and expectations for both parties.
