Common use of Occupational Illness or Injury Clause in Contracts

Occupational Illness or Injury. A. Absence due to injury incurred in the course of the teacher's employment will be charged against the teacher's sick and emergency leave days after twenty-one (21) days but not to exceed thirteen (13) days of sick and emergency leave accumulation. The Board shall pay to such teacher the difference between the teacher's regular salary and benefits received under the Indiana Worker's Compensation Act for the duration of such absence or until the teacher becomes eligible for long term disability benefits, provided that:
