Order Of Cancellation/Standby — Prior To Shift. Prior to the start of the shift when adjustments are necessary, such reduction or assignment of stand¬by shall take place in the following order: 1. Nurses receiving premium pay. 2. Nurses eligible for premium pay on a consecutive weekend shift which is in addition to the nurse’s regular scheduled weekend. 3. Volunteers who have notified the Hospital at least two hours prior to the start of their shift requesting “off if possible” (OIP), “off if possible, standby if not off” (OSIP), or “standby if possible” (SIP). 4. Resource nurses house wide. 5. Nurses scheduled into a unit other than their home unit by seniority. 6. Nurses scheduled in excess of their personal master schedule on their home units by seniority. 7. Nurses scheduled their regular master schedule shifts by the percentage rotation system. 8. Float unit nurses work prior to floated nurses.

  • Standby Provisions (a) Employees required to be on standby will be paid one dollar per hour, or portion thereof. (b) The minimum standby requirement will be four consecutive hours. (c) Should the Employer require an employee to have a pager, beeper, or a cellular phone available during their standby period, then all related expenses for such device will be the responsibility of the Employer.

  • Standby Pay Standby pay shall be at the rate of four ($4.00) dollars per hour. An additional two dollars ($2) per hour will be paid for all hours of standby assigned by the Employer beyond seventy-five (75) hours in a pay period. Standby pay shall be paid for actual hours on standby prior to reporting for duty. Standby pay shall not be paid when the nurse is receiving the four (4) hour minimum callback guarantee, even though the nurse has returned to standby status.
