Order of Layoff. (a) Subject to the provisions of Article 15.03(b) and 15.04(a)(iii), layoff shall occur in reverse order of seniority. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 15.03(a), the Employer shall have the right to retain Employees who would otherwise be laid off when layoff in accordance with Article 15.03 (a) would result in retaining Employees who do not have the ability to perform the work.
