Common use of Organ Donation Leave Clause in Contracts

Organ Donation Leave. Bargaining Unit Members may take a leave of absence of not more than 30 days in a calendar year to serve as an organ donor, without loss of or reduction in pay, without loss of leave to which he/she is otherwise entitled and without loss of credit for time or service. All leaves granted under this Section shall be done in accordance with Chapter 149, Section 33E of the Massachusetts General Laws.
