OTHER FEDERAL REGULATIONS. Activities funded with HOME funds must comply with all of the following federal laws, executive orders and regulations pertaining to fair housing and equal opportunity, as follows: Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act, (42 U.S.C. 3601-3620) As Amended, and implementing regulations at 24 CFR 100. The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of dwellings and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, As Amended (42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq.). This law prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in all Federally-assisted programs. The Age Discrimination Act of 1975, As Amended (42 U.S.C. 6101), and implementing regulations at 24 CFR Part 146. This law prohibits age discrimination based on disability in all programs or activities operated by recipients of Federal financial assistance. Equal Opportunity in Housing (Executive Order 11063, and Executive Order 12259), and implementing regulations at 24 CFR Part 107. These Executive Orders prohibit discrimination against individuals on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, and national origin in the sale, rental, leasing or other disposition of residential property, or in the use or occupancy of housing assisted with Federal funds. Housing assisted with AHF/HOME funds must meet the affordability requirements specified at 92.254 of the HOME Regulation (24 C.F.R. Part 92). AHF/HOME funds must be re-paid to the City if the housing does not meet the affordability requirements for the specified time period. Upon completion of construction/issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, the property is to be re-sold to an owner- occupant homebuyer receiving a down payment and closing costs assistance loan through the City’s AHF HOMEownership Down Payment Assistance Program. The City will hold the long- term deed restriction placed on the property following the sale of the home as described within this paragraph.
OTHER FEDERAL REGULATIONS. The Subrecipient agrees to comply with applicable provisions of the Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act (42 U.S.C. 4821 et. seq), and implementing regulations at 24 C.F.R part 35, subparts A, B, H, J, K, M, and R. The Subrecipient further agrees to comply with 24 CFR. 576.59 and the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (42 U.S.C. 4601 et. seq), as applicable. The Subrecipient must comply with the policies, guidelines and requirements of 2 CFR 200, except that program income is to be used as match or non-federal share. The requirements in 24 CFR part 5, subpart A are applicable, including the nondiscrimination and equal opportunity requirements at 24 CFR 5.105(a). Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, 12 U.S.C. 1701u, and implementing regulations at 24 CFR part 135 apply, except that homeless individuals have priority over other Section 3 residents in accordance with 24 CFR 576.405(c).

  • Federal Regulations No part of the proceeds of any Loans will be used for "purchasing" or "carrying" any "margin stock" within the respective meanings of each of the quoted terms under Regulation U as now and from time to time hereafter in effect or for any purpose that violates the provisions of the Regulations of the Board. If requested by any Lender or the Administrative Agent, the Borrower will furnish to the Administrative Agent and each Lender a statement to the foregoing effect in conformity with the requirements of FR Form G-3 or FR Form U-1 referred to in Regulation U.

  • Compliance with Governmental Regulations Landlord and Tenant shall comply with all rules, regulations and requirements promulgated by national, state or local governmental agencies or utility suppliers concerning the use of utility services, including any rationing, limitation or other control. Tenant shall not be entitled to terminate this Lease nor to any abatement in rent by reason of such compliance.

  • Governmental Regulation Anything contained in this Agreement to the contrary notwithstanding, no Lender shall be obligated to extend credit to the Borrower in violation of any limitation or prohibition provided by any applicable statute or regulation.

  • REGULATION GG Each Fund represents and warrants that it does not engage in an “Internet gambling business,” as such term is defined in Section 233.2(r) of Federal Reserve Regulation GG (12 CFR 233) and covenants that it shall not engage in an Internet gambling business. In accordance with Regulation GG, each Fund is hereby notified that “restricted transactions,” as such term is defined in Section 233.2(y) of Regulation GG, are prohibited in any dealings with the Custodian pursuant to this Agreement or otherwise between or among any party hereto.
