Such participation would normally include providing, without cost, educational and publicity information promoting the goals of the City's Discarded Materials program.
Other Outreach. The project must display, where appropriate and practical, publicly visible signs indicating that the project has received funding through the NOAA Community-based Restoration Program. These signs should also identify other contributing partners. These contributions should also be acknowledged in all communications with the media and the public and in all outreach related to the projects.

Other Outreach. At the Sunspot Astronomy and Visitor Center, a live solar viewer that will project a white-light image of the Sun from a heliostat outside the Visitor Center to a screen inside the center is near completion. NSO is exploring a new exhibit, Ride a Magnetic Carpet, to educate visitors about the magnetic nature of the Sun. It will include a combination of computer stations with interactive graphics, hands-on units, and models of the Sun and of a sunspot. Additional exhibit materials include new display panels for the Xxxx Solar Telescope lobby and the Visitor Center to highlight current observing programs at Sunspot. We also are defining a computer kiosk that would provide access to real-time imagery from ISOON and allow visitors to perform simple image manipulations through a subset of IDL routines use by the ISOON team. Both the exhibit and kiosk will be designed to be transportable for use at either the Sunspot or Kitt Peak visitor centers or by other members of the Southwestern Consortium of Observatories for Public Education (SCOPE). NSO will support the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia in writing a proposal for a planetarium show on the Sun and will support development if funded. NSO will continue with exhibits at the National Science Teachers Association annual convention and will join the Association of Science and Technology Centers. NSO is applying to join the outreach component of NASA's Living With a Star (LWS) program, a broad, powerful outlet for NSO materials and messages. NSO continues to participate in SCOPE, a consortium of research institutions in the southwest that promote a public awareness of astronomy through access and education.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.

  • Outreach Activities a. The Agency shall conduct outreach activities for potential Clients to promote the availability of services. b. Outreach activities shall include, but are not limited to, participation in health fairs, community events, collaboration with other providers, and the posting of flyers for potential Clients. c. The Agency shall have an outreach plan and shall provide evidence of such arrangements to the Recipient upon request.

  • Other Operations The General Partner and its Affiliates shall at all times be free to engage in all aspects of the oil, gas and natural resources business for their own accounts and for the accounts of others.   • Product Development (a) Supplier may develop enhancements it intends to incorporate into the BioGlue Surgical Adhesive during the term of this Agreement that have potential application to the Company Product (“Enhancements”). Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, at least once every six months during the Term, representatives of each of BioForm and Supplier shall hold a meeting in accordance with Sections 4.4 and 8.4 (the “Product Development Meeting”) at which Supplier will present Enhancements for BioForm to consider for application to the Company Product. At such Product Development Meeting, BioForm will also present its marketing plans (pursuant to Section 4.4) for the period and any information or feedback that BioForm reasonably believes may lead to Improvements. Within 30 calendar days following each Product Development Meeting, Supplier shall deliver a notice to BioForm (the “Enhancements Notice”) that shall describe the Enhancements that were presented by Supplier at such Product Development Meeting. Within 30 calendar days following receipt of the Enhancements Notice, BioForm may notify Supplier in writing if BioForm elects that any Enhancement described in the Enhancements Notice shall become an Improvement. If BioForm does provide such notice to Supplier during such 30-calendar day period, then BioForm and Supplier shall agree on a timeline for implementation of the Improvement in new Product Specifications for Company Product. If BioForm does not provide such a notice, said Enhancement shall not be implemented into the Company Product. The Enhancements Notice may also describe any potential Enhancements presented by Supplier at the Product Development Meeting, but BioForm shall not be required to take any action under this Section 8.4 with respect to such potential Enhancements until such time as they are presented by Supplier as Enhancements at a future Product Development Meeting. All Enhancements and potential Enhancement information provided by Supplier shall be considered Supplier Confidential Information. (b) From time to time, each party may request the other party to participate in joint projects to develop Improvements. BioForm hereby grants to Supplier a perpetual, royalty free, world-wide, nonexclusive license to Supplier under such Blocking Intellectual Property to make, use, and sell such Intellectual Property outside the Field. “Blocking Intellectual Property” for the purposes of Section 8.4(c)(iii) shall mean Intellectual Property necessary for Supplier to make, use, or sell SA Product.
