Overtime Definition. All time which is compensated for at the rate of time and one-half (1-½x) the rate of pay will be considered overtime whether or not such compensation is characterized as overtime or premium pay. Except for work on a holiday, only time worked at straight time will count toward calculation of daily or weekly overtime.
