Common use of Overtime - Equivalent Time Off Clause in Contracts

Overtime - Equivalent Time Off. Where a full-time nurse, or regular part-time nurse chooses equivalent time off in lieu of overtime payment, such as in the circumstances outlined under Article 14, such time off shall not accumulate in excess of one hundred (100) hours and shall be taken at a mutually agreeable time. Any hours in excess of that amount shall automatically be paid out. If a nurse wishes, the nurse may request that some or all of their banked compensating time be paid out to a maximum of one hundred (100) hours per pay period.
